According the Russian Primary Chronicle prince Truvor was a brother of mythological Varangian prince Rurik, the first ruler of Russian tribes and the founder of the Russian State. Truvor established himself at Izborsk. The Truvor's Site or the Truvor's Gorodische is the place where the town of Izborsk was located in the Truvor's age.
