Storm clouds roll in over the fishing fleet moored at Weymouth Harbour in Dorset, England. The working harbour and port is a picturesque tourist attraction today but was once infamous in history. It was the spot at which the Black Death, or bubonic plague, entered England in 1348 – brought into Melcombe Regis on the north shore (now part of modern day Weymouth) from Europe by vessels fleeing the disease.
