In Domestic Dogs abnormalities are more frequent, especially in the form known as the Japanese Pag, in which the teeth may be extraordi- narily defective, as will be noted when we come to treat of the domestic Dog.' Almost always the fourth upper premolar and the first lower molar are larger than the others, with sharp cutting-blades which play one against the other, on which account they are otten spoken of as the ' sectorial ' or ' carnassial ' teeth. In Otocijon, however, they hardly differ in this respect from those adjacent to them.
