The 800 Quilt. Commemorates 800th anniversary of the granting of Royal Charter by King John to Kings Lynn, Norfolk
The quilt was commissioned by the Borough Council of Kings Lynn and West Norfolk. It was made by members of the Samphire Quilters to commemorate 800th anniversary of the granting of Royal Charter by King John to Kings Lynn. The panels represent the history and folklore of Kings Lynn over 800 years. Each panel was sewn by a different person.
