An English close helmet, circa 1570 Old assembled helmet with the skull forged in one piece, and a high, corded crest (ca. 1 cm large defect). Two-piece visor, opening upward. Separate eye slits with corded flanges on the underside. Small defects on the left side. Repairs to the point of the visor. The bevor has the two original hook latches, with grips chiselled in the shape of shells. Two riveted neck lames repaired in several places. The upper one restored at the nape. Height 29 cm.
