A small town museum with a side wall adorned with a colorful mural heralding the community's appeal. The small town of Arcola is located in central Illinois and is best known for being part of an Amish community that is mostly settled around its borders and that of neighboring Arthur, Illinois. The museum features information on Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy, whose founder was born in Arcola in 1880. There are a number of murals throughout the community, some providing links to its past and roots.
