A gravity-loading pistol, Colette system, Jongen Freres, Liège, circa 1860. Octagonal, originally blued barrel, finely rifled bore in mm calibre with top magazine rail. Frame with floral and rocaille engraving and signature on left side "JONGEN FRES. A. LIEGE". Fluted, ebonised wooden grip with engraved iron butt cap and trigger guard.
