Air Commandos with the 1st Special Operations Security Forces Squadron and 27th SOSFS, Cannon Air Force Base, New Mexico, determine grid coordinates of points during land-navigation training, Aug. 30, 2018, at Hurlburt Field, Florida. The Airmen were training for the 2018 Defender Challenge in San Antonio, Texas, Sept. 10 – 14, where 14 security forces teams across Air Force major commands, Great Britain and Germany will compete against each other in realistic weapon scenarios, simulated dismounted operations and combat endurance events.
