SOUDA BAY, Greece (May 16, 2018) Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class John Schmeddingassigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75), inspects a vehicle during an anti-terrorism/force protection drill at Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Greece. Donald Cook is forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, on its seventh patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners, and national security interests in Europe and Africa.
