Scales rather strongly °i_4 IS—*^ denticulate, 30-32 -Jj- ; lateral lines rrry?- Brownish, with several rather ill-defined dark bars; a black opercular spot; a dark bar from below the eye to the angle of the mouth ; vertical fins with small spots, forming oblique streaks on the dorsal.
