Army Sgt. Luis LopezVelez, a culinary specialist with the 10th Regional Support Group, displays his first-place medal after a joint culinary competition on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, May 19, 2021. The competition gave food service specialists an opportunity to highlight their culinary skills and set an example to their fellow mess hall service members. Eight service members from six different mess halls across Japan came to compete in the competition. LopezVelez is a native of Pennsauken, New Jersey.
