During EABO, the 31st MEU partnered with the 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Marine Logistics Group and 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, and airmen with the Air Force 353rd Special Operations Group. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed MEU partnering with the Navy's Amphibious Squadron 11, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
