0703272659P-035 ARABIAN SEA (March 27, 2007) - Final checkers ensure an F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the "Death Rattlers" of Marine Strike Fighter Squadron (VMFA) 323, is safe and ready for flight prior to launching from Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 are conducting a dual-carrier exercise with the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 7.
