The German Gully Pack Track was a pathway used by miners in the New Zealand gold rush in the 1860s. On this track mules carried equipment and food from Goldsborough up to the gold fields. Today a dense secondary forest grows along the track. Auf dem Deutschen Packpferde-Pfad trugen Muliis in der Zeit des Goldrausches in Neuseeland in den 1860er Jahren Ausrüstung und Verpflegung aus Goldsborough im Tal hinauf zu den Gold-Fundstellen. Heute wächst an diesem Weg dichter Sekundär-Regenwald.
