Hollander, or Danish Ball Head. A medium sized, very solid head. Stands freezing the best of any I ever grew. Is a long keeper, and a good one to ship. The small heads weigh more than large heads of other kinds. Should be planted on good soil, with good cultivation, to secure good sized heads. Short and thick, intermediate between the half long and the early horn varieties, three or four inches in diameter at the neck. Of most beautiful color and Chan te nay.
