Electrical circuit with lemons. The four lemons have been made into batteries by inserting two different metals (rods and coins) on either side. The reaction between the acid in the lemons and the metal in the coins is the same as that found in electrical batteries. The chemical reactions allow electrons to flow in the circuit, powering the light-emitting diode (LED) at centre.
