, Moldova, Transnistria, Tiraspol - Wooden barrel in the liquor factory Kvint. Kvint was the Cognac brand of the Soviet Union. The tradition of the brand dates back to 1897. Transnistria is a repulsive Moldovan part-republic under Russian influence east of the river Dnister. The region split in 1990 from Moldova and is and is not recognized by any other country. Even the Russian-dependent entity is known as the Transdnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Pridnestrovkaja Moldavskaja Respublika / PMR). Tiraspol is the capital.
