HONG KONG (April 10, 2017) Navy Lt. Cdr. Aaron Carlton, navy chaplain with USS Makin Island (LHD 8), poses for a photo with children from Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si Primary School as part of a community relations event in Hong Kong, April 10. The Marines and Sailors with Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th Marine Expeditionary Unit volunteered to participate in team building sports and share stories about their experience on ship. Hong Kong is one of many port visits USS Makin Island visited throughout their Western Pacific 16-2 deployment.
