SHIMODA, Japan (May 21, 2017) The guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) is anchored off the coast of Shimoda, Japan, during the 78th Black Ship Festival. The Navy’s participation in the festival celebrates the heritage of naval partnership first established by Commodore Matthew Perry’s 1853 port visit.
