'Maid of the Mist', tourist boat, Niagara Falls, USA/Canada, c1930s(?). The first 'Maid of the Mist' began taking tourists on boat trips to see Niagara Falls in 1846. The boat is seen beneath the Upper Steel Arch Bridge, also known as Honeymoon Bridge, built in 1897. It collapsed in an ice storm in 1938. A photograph from an album of Marjorie Bullock, daughter of WE Bullock, managing director of Singer and Co Ltd, the car manufacturers.
