Community Leagues There are approximately 500 colored school communities in Mary-land outside the City of Baltimore. Last year 338 of these communi-ties were organized into community leagues. These organizations hadfor an aim the placing of the community as such squarely behindevery movement which dealt with any phase of community improve-ment, whether this improvement was needed in the church, in theschool, or USES OF THE TALKING MACHINE
