The total length portion of line built by thisbattalion was 1( kilometers; 12 kilometers of same built onexisting French pole lead; the remaining four and a half kilo-meters constructed by placing a 4-pin Repp arm on lance poles were spaced at 100 feet; at intervals of every 1000feet A fixtures were constructed to add to the strength ofthe lead, storm guys l)eing also placed at every fifth pole. Phy-sical transpositions were placed: the portion built by this bat-talion making one complete A section and transposed as ou29-10 of a 10-piii arm scheme.
