These outlets are of gal-vanized iron, and have swinging dampers. At present theheaters are arranged to take air from the building, but byconstructing partitions across the fan-houses outside air maybe taken to the heaters. An excellent idea of the good natural lighting obtained withthe saw-tooth form of roof construction is indicated by thesmall engraving of a portion of the balcony of the shop whichis occupied by the tin shop, bolt, brass and other light machin-ery. The light is diffused and there arc no dark corners. Inentering this building this is one of its most striking features. The blacks
