NOTES: Sisyrinchium albidum is recognized here although Mosquin (1970) suggests that it is best treated as a variant of the widespread S. bermudiana, in which he also includes S. montanum Greene and S. angustifolium P. Mill. Sisyrinchium albidum differs from other related species in having twinned rather than single spathes. This species occurs in a few prairie relicts in the vicinity of Windsor. HABITAT: Prairies.
