Demonstration against a third major runway at London Heathrow airport. Around 4000 protesters marched around the north east end of the airport from Hatton Cross station to Sipson, where around 3000 made a giant 'NO' which was shown live on TV before a rally. If built the new runway would go through SIpson and neighbouring areas, and increase pollution and noise levels across much of London and the western surrounds.
