Sandstone Memorial stone sculpture Schrippen 2007 by Michael Spengler outside the Shrippenskirche home for adults with special needs, Ackerstraße 136/137, Wedding-Berlin The Schrippenkirche founded by Constantin Liebich in 1882 was formerly an association for the homeless & unemployed and it derives its name from the Berliner Schrippe (oval white bun with central incision) & coffee that was handed out before a church service. The former club house was located at Ackerstraße 52 but moved to 136-7 Ackerstrasse in 1979 and the old building was destroyed in 1980.
