Plaque commemorating the Battle of Cravant, Yonne department, Burgundy, France, Europe
Fought in 1423 English and Burgundian forces against French and Scots. The plaque names the French/Scottish commander John Stewart of Darnley. The joint English/Burgundian force prevailed, many scots being killed. The memorial incorporates a French fleur de lys and the Scottish thistle.
