France, Meurthe et Moselle, Saint Nicolas de Port, Saint Nicolas de Port basilica built at the begining of the 16th century after the victory of Duke Rene the Second over Charles le Temeraire at the battle of Nancy thanks to the intercession of Saint Nicolas uprighted patron saint of the Lorraine region, national shrine of the inhabitants of Lorraine. Stained glass windows of Saint Nicolas chapel made by Georges Gross from Nancy in 1951 after the drawings by Jacques Hallez. On the left window from left to right Sir of Joinville offering a ship and Sir of Rechicourt unchained, in the tympanum the reliquary arm of Saint Nicolas. On the right window from left to right Joan of Arc and Simon Moycet, in the tympanum Saint Nicolas as patron saint of the sailors, in the middle a statue of Saint Nicolas resurrecting the three children
