230131-N-WM182-2146 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Jan. 31, 2023) Navy Aviation Electrician's Mate 2nd Class Merihia Koster, from Joshua Tree, Calif., installs a component on an aircraft generator aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is in 7th Fleet conducting routine operations. 7th Fleet is the Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
