With excavation complete the building, cabling and laying the light rail tracks begins on the Circular Quay section of Sydney's new Light Rail network


The Light Rail Project is a major infrastructure undertaking and will cover a 12km route with 19 stops, extending from Circular Quay along George Street to Central Station then through Surry Hills to the suburbs of Randwick and Kingsford. The Light rail will remove hundreds of buses from the congested CBD.
