221021-N-ON904-1134 YOKOSUKA, Japan - (Oct. 21, 2022) Families and sponsors pin newly selected chief petty officers during the FY23 Chief Petty Officer Pinning Ceremony for Commander, Submarine Group 7, Defense Service Office (DSO) Pacific, and Commander, Naval Forces Japan held at the CNFJ Auditorium, Oct. 21. Seven Chief Petty Officer Selects were promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer during the ceremony. Each Sailor had their anchors pinned and donned their CPO covers for the first time in front of their fellow CPOs, command leadership, family and friends.
