Intricate figures of dancers on Konark temple


Konark temple ('Konaditya') was built in the thirteenth century by Raja Narasinghs Deva-I, designed in the shape of a chariot with 12 pairs of stone wheels. The temple contains numerous carvings and statues depicting dancers, musicians, as well as erotic carvings.
