Petty Officer 2nd Class Itro Duncan signals the pilot of an H-3 Sea King helicopter that it is clear to move away from the flight deck of the USS Mason (DDG 87) as the ship operates in the Persian Gulf on Feb. 5, 2005. The Arleigh Burke class destroyer is conducting operations in the Gulf as a part of Destroyer Squadron 26 and the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75) Carrier Strike Group. The Sea King, from Helicopter Combat Support Squadron 2, and the USS Mason are both deployed from Norfolk, Va.
