Its use should, however, be continued, under a lightertension, until the patient has been fi*ee from trouble for somedays. It may also be employed to great advantage for the supportof pendulous or heavy breasts, or for the relief of the engorge-ment which frequently attends the first appearance of the milk;but when used for this i)urpose, it should be much less tightlydrawn.
