Sometimes colour HDRs just don't quite cut it. This part of the Lloyds building was pretty colourless. Its industrial is still fascinating but pretty neutral colourwise (is that eve a word? I'm still using it). I used Nik Software's Silver efex pro to change that image to a black and white. When I do this I always like that there is a pure white and a black black in there somewhere. I guess thats a dynamic range of a black and white. I increased the contrast so that the sky and other surfaces of the building were as pure as I could get without ruining the image. In other news, there is no news. Enjoy your Thursday.
