Female head depicted in the fragment of the Roman fresco from Herculaneum (1-79 AD), now on display in the National Archaeological Museum (Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli) in Naples, Campania, Italy. Fragment of a panel illustrating a scene which, on the basis of the presence of a garland of olives, was probably of sacrifice. The position of the head and the shadows of the architectural elements leans one to think of the depiction of the arrival of Jason at Iolcus.
