Erik Kurilla, the 82nd Airborne Division outgoing commander, relinquished command of the "All American" division to Maj. Gen. James Mingus, the 82nd Airborne Division incoming commander, during a change of command ceremony at Pike Field on Fort Bragg, North Carolina Aug. 2, 2018. Kurilla will continue to serve the Army at the United States Central Command, but will forever be a paratrooper of the division.
