People walk around a traditional Sami house during a visit to the medieval village, located on the grounds of the historical center of the city of Trondenes. The Trondenes Historical Center houses a large collection of historical artifacts and collections ranging from the first Viking settlement in the region to the occupation of Nazi Germany during World War II. It also has a medieval village display depicting the daily life and artifacts used by the Sami tribe on Norwegian soil.
