Swiss Re Tower London Britain England
Commonly known as the Gherkin, the Swiss Re Building or Swiss Reinsurance Tower, London, England, is built on the site of the former Baltic Exchange which was destroyed by an IRA bomb during their terrorist activities in London. The Swiss Re Tower is the most distinctive addition to the London skyline in recent years and is an important addition to the architectural heritage of London.
