Chest x-ray showing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Chest x-ray of an 88 year old woman with shortness of breath and a long history of smoking. Exam: Portable AP chest x-ray. Findings: Chronic changes persist including hyperinflation consistent with COPD. The heart is normal in size. Pulmonary vasculature appears normal. There appears to be some prominence of the interstitial markings. There is no pulmonary onsolidation, effusion or pneumothorax. Small calcification projects over the lateral mid lung field in the left side suggestive of a calcified granuloma.
