It is also possible to reach the Yoho Valley from EmeraldLake. From Emerald Lake an excellent trail leads around thelake to the Yoho Pass (altitude 6,000), where it is joinedby the trail from Field over Mount Burgess. Reaching thesummit by pony, a wonderful view is obtained. Summit Lake, asmall but beautifully colored lake, is passed, and thence descentis made into the Yoho Valley.
