Water Tank above Capital Gorge Passage in Capital Reef National Park. The 3 1/2 mile Capital Gorge Passage was used as the main road through Capital Reef from 1884 until 1964 when Utah Hwy 24 was build through the park. In many places along the gorge the width between the walls is no more than 15 feet across.
