Gibraltar - 26th November 2015 - With just a couple of hours to go before polling stations close the turnout was recorded at 15297 voters having cast their vote. This was just below 2011 when the GSLP/Liberals were elected into Government, but still above in numbers to 2007. Polling stations within the city centre area showed a steady trickle of voters attending, although few queues were recorded after 7pm. Similar reports have emerged from other polling stations indicating that whilst the percentage turn out might be lower than previous years, the actual numbers casting their vote is expected to stay higher than 2007 due to an increase in the number of registered voters.
