The Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) celebrated the Marine Corps’ 242nd birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony and reading of the commandant of the Marine Corps’ birthday message. The message was ready by Jerry Blanco, the command’s facilities manager and a retired Marine. Blanco also spoke about the special bond between Navy hospital corpsmen and Marines.
