The thoracic (lungs and heart) and abdominal organs (liver lobes in dark red, stomach in pinkish beige, large intestine in gray and small intestine in nude) are then visible. The large intestine is composed of the ascending (in the right abdominal side), transverse (horizontally), descending (left abdominal side) and sigmoid (not visible here) colons. The blood vascularization is depicted for the thorax (subclavian artery and vein towards the clavicles, pulmonary arteries and aortic arch above the heart). The main superficial skeletal muscles are depicted in burgundy for the remainder of the body. The tendons and ligaments are in white, the bones in beige.
