Fire coral (Millepora dichotoma). Showing the hairs that are covered in cells called nematocysts which the Fire coral uses mainly as a defense mechanism against fish which may feed upon it as well as against prey for food. Fire Corals are not true corals but Hydrozoans or Hydroids. Egypt, Red Sea.
