We have commissioned our agent in Japan to ship us for this season a selected lot and expect they will reach us in October, at which time we cordially invite a personal in- spection of the stock. For the convenience of our customers at a distance we illus- trate a few designs, which give a fair idea of their general appearance, although many of the finest and most Miique patterns we are unable to illustrate. Orders for the same will be filled as near like the design selected as possible. One of these vases, together with a handsome Palm, forms a combination which for rich effect it would be hard to equal and impossible to excel. Style A 1. A handsome light-colored bronze, with four panels of raised figures, also chased at bottom and top rim ; very neat. 10 inches diameter, Style A3. A unique light-colored bronze, with two panels in exquisite relief of mythical animals and flowers. 9 inches diameter, $ Style B 1. Extremely ornamental and rich in appearance, dark bronze, with in- tricate design ; very handsome. 11 inches diameter, $ Style C 4. One of the finest productions of the bronze-makers' art, dark bronze, with beautiful lines, and four panels in relief; ornamental handles and feet. 8 inches diameter, $ Style C 2.
