Brass candlestick, The candlestick is composed of two parts: the base and the stem with the candleholder. The trunk with the holder are cast in two vertical halves, the casting seams of which can still be seen on both sides. The flat square base has concave corners with bevelled edges and has a slightly raised round edge towards the center. This part can thus serve as a fat trap. The trunk has a knot and a baluster that widens upwards, which in cross section repeats the profile of the foot.
