Mr. Beebe, from early boyhood, displayed great mechanicalability and is the inventor of several devices, some of which have beenpatented. A sketch of Mr. Beebe would be incomplete without mentionof his fame as a most devoted disciple of Izaak Walton, and few equalhim as an adept in the fisherm^ans art, being one of the most success-ful fly-fishermen of the famous Castalia Trout Club, of wlhich he hasbeen a director. A great lover of nature, he is an enthusiastic canoe-ist and fond of outdoor life and sports. Frank was married February14, 1871, to Eliza C.
