He was detained and tortured by the Syrian regime, he fled to Lebanon and was also hurt by soldiers there. After some years in a camp in Lebanon, he got sponsord by the imam of Calgary and now lives in Calgary. He works in renovation and at a restaurant. He fears for his family still in Syria.
